About Pantau Kuasa

Welcome to Pantau Kuasa, an initiative by IDEAS committed to monitoring political appointments in federal statutory bodies (FSBs) and government-linked companies (GLCs) across various governmental administrations.

Our platform currently tracks political appointments in 134 FSBs and 283 GLCs spanning five distinct administrations from 2013 to 2024, including those led by Dato Seri Najib Razak, Tun Mahathir, Tan Sri Muhyiddin, Dato Seri Ismail Sabri, and incumbent Prime Minister, Dato Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

At Pantau Kuasa, our primary objective is to highlight the prevalence of political appointments within FSBs and GLCs and advocate for heightened transparency and accountability within these institutions. Through accessible data presentation, we strive to inform the public on the importance of ensuring independent and accountable board governance in these bodies.
